Week of Compassion is deeply invested in Disciples congregations and their members. In situations where local Disciples communities and members are affected by a disaster, such as a hurricane, flood, or tornado, WoC might respond in several ways.  WoC may provide a solidarity grant to help the individual church or family with immediate needs, support local long term recovery efforts, or it may support work trips undertaken by other congregations to facilitate recovery.
