San Angelo

Picture
Over 2025 Fourth of July weekend, heavy rainfall poured over central Texas causing catastrophic flash flooding that caused severe damage, injuries and deaths. Across Texas, approximately 4,000 homes have been affected. In San Angelo alone, more than 65 homes were destroyed, and over 500 were severely damaged. It is estimated that 300 of these homes include families with children.

Week of Compassion is partnering with Grace Christian San Angelo, United Way, and Galilee CDC to receive volunteers to help the community of San Angelo rebuild.

Read a special invitation from Grace Christian pastor Rev. TJ Shoop-York to learn more about joining in this significant recovery effort.
