CONSTRUCTION SITE LEADERS
Construction Site Leaders serve on disaster recovery sites coordinated by Week of Compassion, usually for a period of 1 to 3 months (or as an 'on-call' leader, if local to the recovery). Successful Construction Site Leaders have enough 'handy skills' to oversee home repairs and enough 'people skills' to compassionately guide volunteers.
Primary responsibilities include:

Primary responsibilities include:
- Greeting and orienting volunteer teams
- Liaising between local rebuild partners and volunteer teams
- Guiding volunteer teams in home repair work
- Ensuring project sites and materials are prepared for volunteer teams
- Reporting weekly progress
- Promoting a positive work environment that reflects the values of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)
