How To Prepare For A Disaster

Picture
We are excited to be part of a new tool for networking congregations for disaster preparedness and response:
+ WILLING TO RESPOND +
With a registry of willing congregations and a library of vetted resources, Willing to Respond helps us connect with you and introduce you to congregations and organizations in your area.

Willing to Respond also provides your congregation with training, tips, and tools to reduce your risk and be ready to help

your neighbors when disaster strikes.

Click the Willing to Respond button, or email our
Disaster Response Organizer, Raiza Spratt, for more information.
As the old saying goes, An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

In addition to the practical benefits of preparation, communities of faith have an additional motivation: advance planning and preparation helps us help others. In the critical moments, days, and months following a crisis event, established plans can save precious time and resources and can make responses more efficient.

For Preparedness Training for Congregations and Regions (in-person or virtual), contact Disaster Response Organizer Raiza Spratt.
